I don’t know why I’m so obsessed with this girl, who made the Top 36 on American Idol but then was determined to be “ineligible” for reasons that were never fully disclosed, but are probably related to the fact that she’s been signed to a major label already in the past. (But they knew that when she first auditioned for them, so I don’t quite get this.)
She’s been trying to make it in the entertainment world forever, and MTV has just released clips of her from a 2002 show they did featuring her, titled True Life Presents: First Year.
Again, I’m not entirely certain why I fixate on her. Maybe because it’s good to remember that I’m not the only one who’s had my heart broken by something I’d wanted not working out? I don’t know. But what I’ve learned is that, usually, when I’m this obsessed with some random person, a lot of you guys are, too.

i heard she somehow knew some of the guys who make american idol, and was too close for it to look objective. not sure though

ironically, i’ve been like.. I KNOW THAT NAME since this whole thing came out. Lo and behold I’m in my car the other day looking for something on my iPod and THERE HER FUCKING NAME IS. On my playlist as an individual artist. Hahaha it was just the song she had in legally blonde but still.

I have been hearing she was close friends with some of the producers of American Idol (or someone to that affect).
Also, she has had songs released on the Nancy Drew & Legally Blonde Soundtrack.
Poor girl can’t catch a break. I was interested in seeing her on AmIdol mostly for the entertainment value, but she seems to have some talent in her.

I hate when people use a lot of power, but with no emotion. She just sounds like she’s yelling….
