Simon Cowell would bitch her out!!!

Miz Cyrus performed on Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway in the UK last night, and forgot the words to her own song, “Fly on the Wall.” It happens around the 1:12 mark. At the very end of the performance, you can see her saying to one of her dancers, “I forgot the words!”

Listen, I know how we all hate Miley Cyrus because it’s our duty as responsible adults and stuff, but she actually recovered really, really well, and she’s a fantastic live performer. Let’s keep in mind that this girl is sixteen years old, and give her a tiny bit of credit. At least she didn’t break out into a jig, Ashlee-style.

Also: her legs are fantastic. Then again, so were mine when I was 16.

  • haha, she’s definitely easy to make fun of, but i actually don’t hate her. like beet said, i think she’s a great performer – she recovers beautifully and absolutely doesn’t let that slip affect the rest of her performance. nice job.

    she just waits till the next chorus and picks it up there .
    my 10 year old does the same thing all the time when she forgets the lyrics.
    man, you guys are easily impressed.

    as for her not cracking under the “pressure” …give me a break !
    she’s living every kids dream, have you seen her inane youtube videos ?
    boy, she really looks like she’s got the weight of the world on her shoulders. lol

  • As much as Miley herself annoys the hell out of me – and as much as I’m ashamed to admit this – I actually dig her music.

  • We all forget shit, we’re human. I’m not a Miley fan, but I think she has a great voice. This is actually the best I’ve seen her look too.

  • She didn’t actually just forget the lyrics, she accidentally sung part of the first verse “she should have sung “you should know by now…” but she sang “but you just lose out every time…” which is from the first verse so she automatically started singin the first verse again and when she realised she just paused and it took her a few mins to pick up the words again for the second verse.
    That’s what caused her to fluff up, singing the wrong words from the wrong verse not forgetting them

  • OK that was the first time I heard her voice. Never mind forgetting the words: SHE CAN’T SING! Yup she’s pretty, but my god, this is what the fuss is about? I think even Britney has a better voice than her.

    • actually many critics in the UK have praised her, and said she has a much better voice than Britney at that age, or even now. Her voice is different, I like her more in country than pop, but dude her voice is more grown up than Britney’s.

  • Oh wow. I kind of hate to admit it, but she really does have a great presence on stage. And I also had no idea the girl could actually SING. she’s really pretty damn good, surprisingly.

  • She forgot the words to her song but she picked it up, gave a good performance and did not let it get to her. I never used to like her but when I saw that I finally realised that she is just a normal teenager. She may have been tyred due to jet lag as she lives in LA, California and the time diffrence between there and London is about 8 hours. but at least you don’t have to go through all of that so if you are being horrible about it just think how you would feel if that was you up there and you forgot the lyrics. As her Hannah Montana song goes ” Everybody makes mistakes, nobodys perfect”.X

  • She’s HUMAN!!! Just like everyone else! And so what, she messed up a few lines to one song, it shows she’s not just a singing machine that she is a human, a performer, actually a GREAT performer, and hey at least ya know she sings LIVE! The only time that girl doesn’t seem to have sung live is as Hannah Montana. As Miley she always sings live, always hits the right notes and though she may not have the best voice in the world, her voice isn’t terrible, her music is catchy and her performances and stage presence is incredible for a girl her age. She was probably tired and nervous and messed it up. But she pulled it back as quick as she could and just carried on. I got a lot of respect for that!

  • Who cares if she messed up? We all make mistakes. I love her outfit, she’s a great performer, and her hair looks nice. :)
