It is looking more and more certain that Rihanna was on the receiving end of Chris Brown’s domestic violence. RADAR heard from a source who was at Cedars-Sinai that night, and it’s not pretty:
It was some time after 12PM PST [Sunday] and I had been waiting in the ER department corridor when Rihanna was brought through the back entrance on a gurney, flanked by two LAPD officers. It was impossible to know it was her at first because when they wheeled her past me, she had the hood on her fuchsia-colored sweatshirt tightly drawn round her face and she was wearing big brown sunglasses. They took her into room 14 which was opposite me. It had a six-foot glass door but the nurses drew a privacy curtain around it.
I knew the person was famous because of all the attention she was being given by security and medical staff. However, they didn’t draw the curtain all the time and I was finally able to make out that the woman they had brought in was Rihanna. She was lying in bed. While the two police officers waited outside, Rihanna was seen by the doctor. When he left, a plain clothes officer in a mismatched suit went in.
I figured he was a detective because I saw the handcuffs in his belt. He stayed in there for about an hour.
When he left, Rihanna’s two female assistants went in to see her and a private security guard stood outside. The police officers were given room 10 to use which was close to Rihanna’s.
Rihanna was clearly very upset by what had happened and I could hear her screaming. Rihanna was trying to get her point across about something, she sounded like she was crying as she tried to get to put her point across.
Her staff was also very shaken by what had happened. Later on I saw one of the assistants crying into the shoulder of the security guard. I left at 4pm, happy to get out of the place, something terrible had clearly happened to Rihanna.
When asked for comment, her publicist just said: “Rihanna is well. Thank you for concern and support.”
TMZ is also reporting that the victim’s name on the police report was Robyn Fenty, which is Rihanna’s real name.
If this is all true, I hope this is the END of Chris Brown’s career. No self-respecting DJ should play his songs on the radio after this. And NO ONE should be buying his albums!

I agree. From experience, we will never know what really went down. Also she might have started it (which in doesnt make it alright for him to have hit her) we do not know the whole story. I remember a friend of mine being arrested and put in jail because even though her husband hit her every night, when the cops showed up they believed him because HE had the bruises. I wont judge him or her because we do not know the full story, if she pressed charges I doubt she didnt fight back.

I agree completely. Something about this story is just not adding up to me, probably because we’re missing like all of the details. It’s like no one is really sure what’s going on. One minute he had a weapon, the next he didn’t. Then she had bite marks then she didn’t, oh but wait we had it right the first time and she does have bite marks. I also find it odd that Rihanna isn’t really pressing for as many charges as she could (and probably should). Why should the DA be the one to push for domestic assault charges? I also find it strange that Wrigley’s decided to suspend their deal as opposed to just ending it. I’m not saying there’s ever a justification for men hitting women (or vice versa. Make love, not war!), I just think we’re missing a lot of pieces to this puzzle.
That, and I guess I’m just not ready to hate Chris Brown yet. It’s really hard for me to reconcile his squeaky clean image with any of this.

I know. I think this is why boys are taught to never hit a girl. It’s just typically not a fair fight. I am pretty small, around 110 lbs usually. Most of my boyfriends and guy friends have at LEAST 70 lbs on me, if not a whole lot more. It would be one thing to get beat up by someone my own size, it’s a whole other thing to be beat up by someone TWICE my size.
And upper body strength-wise, guys definitely have an advantage, 99 times out of 100.
By all means, I don’t think anyone should ever assault anyone else, especially their partner (or child… ugh don’t get me started). But when one person has a huge size advantage… well, that makes it far worse.
I just read that Chris Brown will not partake in ANY NBA AllStar events…

I was taught, growing up, that if I was going to be a smart ass (to a man or a woman) that I should be ready to back up my mouth if I got in over my head. Now, I’ve never been hit by a guy because a) I’ve been lucky and b) I’ve been smart enough to shut up when confronted with a male who is losing control. However, I also disagree with you that we are equals. Unless you are a body builder or just have a really petite man, as females we normally don’t have the muscle structure that guys have. We’re normally more soft and so I definitely don’t think it’s okay for a guy to use his brute force against someone smaller than him. Be it male or female.

Rihanna’s actually pretty broke. At least in comparison to how well her stuff is selling. I read a while back she only had $20,000 to her name due to poor management and agreeing to a pretty bad contract. So even though her name is more out there, he actually has more money. It’s kind of sad, really. Sometimes people are so eager and just happy to be offered at chance at living their dreams that they basically sign their souls away without realizing it. Kailee I totally agree with you! Just coz they are celebrities doesnt mean they get all the help and paparazzi at them every two minutes. Just like cancer. When Kylie Minogue got cancer everyone was like’oh poor Kylie’ blah blah blah. So many people have had cancer in the world. My grandad died of cancer before I was born. Why make such a fuss JUST because they are celebs? We dont know the whole story yet. 50% of women get hit because they dont shut their mouth. Just like teenagers- 50% of them get stabbed/shot because they dont zip it and just walk away. Though the other 50% get hurt just because of a “bad” look. We need to wait for the story to come out properly first.
