So, one of the plastic surgery websites recently ran a piece suggesting that Lady GaGa had a nose job recently. You can see their compare pic above.

To aid you guys in your diagnosis, I have posted in the thumbnails a bunch of pics of Lady GaGa before she had her signature look (well, she wasn’t blonde yet, but she already had the slutty thing down pat) — these pics are taken from Lollapalooza in 2007. The second set is of her commanding the DJ booth at some London club with Paris Hilton just this week.

  • I was actually just looking at this picture last night after reading that entry you wrote about Ashlee Simpson defending Jessica. Someone mentioned her nose job in the comments and so I googled her before & after.

    I want to say no to her nose job, because her nose looks large and the same in both pictures. I think it’s just the angle. Perhaps that would explain why she’s always wearing sunglasses… to cover up a little of her nose bridge?

  • Naw…. I don’t think that is her! It’s so pixelated and blurry too. I dig her with brown hair though, but she is definitely more recognizable as a platinum blonde.

    In any case, I don’t think she’s had a nose job. If she did, it would be a lot more obvious – she would have gone from a Streisand to a Minnie Mouse. The same thing happened with Brittany Murphy, she just changed her whole look so much that her features looked totally different.

  • Coming from someone whos had a nose job, I can say that she definately hasn’t. The second photos a bit photoshopped, but you can still see the nose has the same bump at the top. It looks a bit thinner but I would deffo say that’s down to lighting.

    if you look closely at the bridge of her nose towards the left, you can see that the line of her nose is jagged.

    the shadow on the right side of her nose doesn’t really match up either ;o
    its really easy to do actually, and i’ve learned to do stupid things like that in photshop classes that i’ve had to take ( i’m majoring in graphic design)

    • Actually, there is a procedure surgically to change eye colour. (yes colour is spelled correctly, I’m Canadian) They are doing the procedure in Europe right now. it’s similar to laser eye sugery when they pull back the layer of retina to do the laser. only with colour changing, they go a little deeper and insert a soft sphere of silicone in the shape of a fruit loop of the desired colour. It is not FDA approved in the USA. and there are risks as with all eye surgery.
      , but can you imagine when it does come to the US how many freaky eyeballs will be walking around??? it will be like halloween everyday, but only in this case its permanet (unless you actually want to go through the surgery AGAIN) take care

      Lady GaGa is a she, not a he. Therefore, SHE looks like a 30 year old woman on the left, not HE.

      Next, when you say people shouldn’t care about one’s life then saying care about your own business—the word one applies to the person reading it as well, therefore the two sentences contradict.

      Next, the comment about the picture: “what if I will post…” how is that correct grammar? Either its “I will post it” and then the use of “will” would be correct or “what if I post it” present tense.

      So before you try to put yourself on a pedestal, as if you’re debonaire or better then the rest, try not sounding like a complete and total idiot. (and yes I know complete and total mean the same thing, but I thought I’d use them both to emphasize how idiotic you sound.)

  • It’s not been photoshopped, it is her, it’s on her own website, but it’s simply a matter of too strong a light from the left and slightly above, making the shadow that makes her nose look thicker. Ignoring lightning, definite points such as the end of her nose haven’t moved at all, there’s no way she’s had a nosejob between these two pic.

    Reassuring to me though, that maybe *some* day that a photo will be taken some day of me, with the lighting just right so my nose doesn’t look so awful… ;-)

    1. In the left picture there is a line on the nose, so it could be prepaired with photoshop
    2. Some people say that Lady Gaga made a fake (joke) so that the person on the left picture is Lady Starlight
    3. The person on the left on the person on the right picture haven’t the same eyecolor
    4. Lady Gaga had former black hair, not the blond one as well
    5. I think on the left picture, she doesn’t even look like her

    7. If you look at older pictures, you can see, that she had a normal nose before

      Hell, I spotted at least four discrepancies between the pictures. Gaga has a longer neck than what the person in the left one has, the eyes are a different color, the gap between the lower lip and the jaw is bigger in the right picture and lastly, the cheekbones are more defined in the left one.

  • I sensed “photoshop” just in the first impression, then as I looked at the two pix further, even more so. Lady GaGa has a very distinct voice and like Barbra Streisand, I do no think that she would risk that distinction by having a nose job. Barbra Streisand, even though I disagree with her on most, if not all of her political views, was wise not to tamper with her nose, fearing that any changes could markedly impact her voice. I would venture the same for Lady GaGa. She has a distinct nose and there is nothing wrong with that! He voice is one of her trademarks, why take the chance! I’m betting that she did not have any work done.

  • Actually, Lady GaGa used to be a little bigger than she is now. And no, she did not get a nose job. Maybe this was photoshopped and maybe it wasn’t. I used to be heavier and I know I lost weight in my cheeks and nose. So it’s possible that that is what happened.

  • I’ve been following her from the beginning and whether or not the before and after is her, I certainly think she has had some work done. Maybe her nose made a bit thinner, on the early pictures the bridge of her nose seems higher and larger. Also maybe a small chin implant?

Upon closer examination, you see it also appear at the bridge and just above the bulb of the nose. ultimately, what you are seeing, is a pentagonal cut of the original image being taken out, then the image of another nose being superimposed –this is called ‘photoshopping’. The reason for the mismatch is the failure to properly align the superimposed image, as well as using an automatic feature to best match the pigment of skin of the original exposure. The chin and right eye (of the before picture) have likely been touched as well, but I can’t be sure. I am not contesting whether or not Lady Gaga has been cosmetically enhanced; but, I can attest to the amateurish photoshopping of the left, “before” image.

  • i am an art student and i can definately assure you that this is photoshopped. i don’t know if she’s had any plastic surgery or not, and quite frankly i don’t really care, but that ‘before’ image is poorly photoshopped. You can even see for yourself… if you look right by the edge of her left eye, on the nose you can see where the picture is altered because there’s an egde that wasn’t smoothed out.

    and you can tell someone has taken the liquify tool and just bloated her
    nose out to look bigger, I do not think lady gaga has had plastic surgery on her nose, i have a similar nose, and if you were to want to get plastic surgery,
    she’d probably make it smaller still, her nose is still slightly large but i think

  • I don’t doubt that both photos are real. however, i don’t think lady gaga got a nose job. the first photo has strong lighting, causing some harsh shadows on her face. this makes her nose look bigger. not only that, but she just generally doesn’t look good in photo #1.
    In the second photo, her skin is very even-toned and her look is clean, clear and sheik.
    so my opinion is no, i don’t think she got a nose job. but she did get a better look and photographer. ;)

  • I think it’s just weight loss. I’m petite and when I loss five pounds, it looked like the entire structure of my face changed. The red lipstick makes the lower half of her face look heavier too, which makers her nose seem longer. These photos aren’t from the same angle either. They’re similar, but the first photo, her chin is out farther and closer making the rest of her face recede. The lighting is also far more dramatic which emphasizes size greater.

    • No you can slim down your nose with makeup, and the lighting can also effect the looks. Look at the difference in lighting. One is shadowed which makes the nose enhanced, the other is not shadowed with hides the emphesis of the nose.

I mean look really closely to the “before & after” pic, they are 2 different people and even if they are you couldnt necessarily say that anyway. for example, in the two pictures they have different lighting, they faces are at two totally different angles ( look closely at the angle of her jaw line, and the angle of her nose) also they have differnt make up on, the “before pic has slightly puffier lips than the “after” pic. also they have differt hair and eyes, granted who am i kidding in this day and age with hair styles, dyes, and contacts. but come on the “before” pic looks like Courtney Love.

  • If you look closer you can definately tell there is really no difference between the two photos of her nose. Even though the two profile shots seem to be from the same angle they are in fact not that similiar. The shot on the left is more right and centered and the one on the left is turned more to the left, the left one makes her nose look wider because of this!

  • That picture is fake as can be, I am a photoshop artist and not only is that picture Photoshopped, it is badly retouched.. :) And in addition to that, isn't it a bit strange that this is the ONLY picture running around the net where her nose looks like that?

    HOWEVER, she has most certainly had plastic surgery done to the tip of her nose (not the bone part, but the cartilage). Just look at “Pokerface” where it is rounded from every angle, and then “Alejandro” where it is chiseled and sharp. Between those two vids there sure has been a change, but I think it looks great and I am glad she kept the “Italian bow” instead of turning it into a small upturned button nose that doesn't even remotely resemble her original features! (like ashlee simpson for example..).

  • Lady Gaga has NOT had a nose job. Lights and shadows on photographs can make it look like she has. It can make anyone look different. So can photoshopping.

    If you notice her eyes are different and her face is thinner, so clearly make up, lighting and weight loss are also factors.

  • Yeah she’s definitely had something done, but either way who cares – if any of you became famous you’d get plastic surgery for sure. But you won’t so well no real point saying that.
