Britney Spears has finally ditched the Beverly Hills manse where her array of breakdowns took place, and has relocated her family to a posh rented mansion — worth $9.1M — in Calabasas.
The over-the-top House Of Dreams features every conceivable luxury. The custom designed estate features more than 10,000 square feet of living space for Britney to relax. The gardens will give her young sons more than an acre to run around in as they play in the rose garden and swim in the glass mosaic pool. All the interiors are built from the finest limestone, marble, walnut hardwood parquet and plank flooring, imported European stone mosaics and limestone fireplaces.
The master bedroom includes a separate large designer dressing room including garment, shoe and bag storage. And Britney can prepare for her day in a custom bathroom suite with a dry sauna, steam shower and bath that extends onto a balcony spanning across the rear elevation of the estate. Her cars cans be stored below ground in a garage with two auto lifts.
And if that isn’t enough Britney can spend time in the craft room, mud room, maid’s quarters or three other bedroom suites.
Plus, the home is in a gated community, making it more difficult for the paparazzi to access her.
Britney Twittered about the new house today, saying “I just took my babies to our new home and they loved it! I can’t wait to move in. ~Britney”
no credit crunch for britney!
Oh, to be rich.
Just what we all need to see – another useless celebrity living high on the hog while we are loosing our jobs and trying just to make ends meet.
true.
no offense intended to the celebrities
that say they care so much about the disadvantaged,
and donate like a twentieth of their paycheck
to funds that help those less fortunate,
but if you really cared that much,
you’d give most of your money,
and live middle class like the rest of us.
i.e. bill gates. he doesnt donate that much money.
he gets way to much hype.
proportionally, hes donated less than a fourth of his money.
everyone makes it sound like he’s donated all of it or something.
Why in the HELL should Bill Gates or anyone wealthy for that matter be expected to donate one fourth of their income to anyone! Especially before checking to make sure that the need is legitimate? There are people who are truly in need and then there are those who simply want to sit on their lazy asses and do nothing but take, take and take. I am all for giving but I like to know just who is doing the getting. Way to many parasites posing as disadvantaged these days.
But these people have worked hard for their money. Why should they be criticized for not giving enough? Bill and Melinda Gates are admirable because they do something…which is a lot more than any of their peers.
As for Britney, her schedule and the amount that she works during her recording, tours and such is more than I could do in a year. Considering I only work a 30 hour week, it would seem pretty ridiculous of me to expect anyone to hand over their hard-earned dollars to me.
What an inane idea to donate most of their money and live middle class. They worked hard for what they have.
Another person who thinks people are OBLIGATED to donate. Sorry, but no one is OBLIGATED to give one thin dime to anyone And 1/20 of their income is more than I make in a year. If you’re so generous, give 25% of your income, but don’t look at others to do the same.
With a large estate, isn’t there going to be a lot of helicopter activity over the house, trying to get pics?
Who cares?
i love you Britney, but you need a fence around the pool. toddlers can swim like stones…..
Why exactly would she, as a smoker, move to a city that has completely ban smoking everywhere, and I mean everywhere?
there’s no ban on her own property. she can smoke to her lungs content. and BTW she’s not going out anyway. she’ll need to stick around to make sure here kids don’t drown in that pool.
The house that little girls with no musical taste bought.
Here’s hoping a vigil is kept on the little ones with that pool!
