And we all know that "colored" is not a particularly PC term here in the U.S., but I don't think either of these people were trying to be offensive. In fact, as I understand it, calling someone "colored" is perfectly acceptable in the UK. And why are we allowed to say "people of color" but we're not allowed to say "colored"?
