Okay, I’ll admit it: I love Enya. So do most of you. She’s amazing, and listening to her music is like taking a shitload of Xanax, minus the trip to the hospital and the stomach-pumping. She’s always been a rather reclusive musician, rarely granting interviews and never touring. But now she’s hinting that she might be hitting the road to support her latest album, And Winter Came, which was released on November 11.
“We’re definitely talking about it,” she says in an interview with Billboard. “I’ll be promoting until February, and that’s when we’ll sit down and think, ‘What’s next?'”
It would be awesome if she toured, but I don’t think I’d want to go. I always listen to her music when I need to calm down and go to sleep, so I’d probably wind up paying really good money to sleep through three-quarters of the show.
But, hey, she’s thinking about a tour in early 2009, and Britney Spears is also thinking about a tour in early 2009. How awesome would it be if Enya opened for Britney?

Weird, I always pictured her as some sort of porcelain skinned redheaded angel with long flowing hair and freckles. Not to say she’s unattractive, but I think I’m going to stick to my imaginary Enya to the backdrop of Sail Away relaxation sessions.

Uh, I’d say no, it wouldn’t be awesome if Enya opened for Britney Spears. One is a highly talented musician and singer from Ireland, the other is a no-talent cracker-trash dysfunctional skank from Louisiana who forgets to put on her underwear. Not really a match, I’d say.

I’m a HUGE Enya fan. I wouldn’t like a concert, either. I prefer to have her on headphones or earplugs, as I’m laying back and experiencing the tunes. She’s always a longggg, slow eargasm.

I love Enya with all my heart, and her last album makes me cry everytime i hear it.. Reminds me so much of my mother, who is overseas, and she loves Enya more than i do.. And i miss my mom so much, and it’s almost Christmas, and she wont be with me this year again.. And listening to Enya is like if part of her was here with me…..
