Despite being the worst named movie ever, Quantum Of Solace, the newest in the James Bond epic, had a $27M Friday night. If all goes as expected, it could be a $70M weekend which far exceeds the former Bond movie record of $47.1M opening weekend ticket sales of Die Another Day. Has anyone seen it yet and if so, opinions? The critics hate it so I figure it’s probably pretty good.
Umm..Wendie? It’s called Quantum OF Solace.
It’s alright. I thought it dragged the last movie’s love plot too much. It was sort of like the 2nd Matrix or the fifth Star Wars film, if that makes sense to some of you. The action scenes were pretty good, but to me Craig still doesn’t seem classy enough to be a spy, he’s just like a thug in a suit.
Oh yeah, and the title makes sense once you see the film.

I’ve seen the movie and it’s not like Pierce Brosnan bond movies but more like the Bourne series.
I like Craig more than Brosnan but the action doesn’t involve as much car chases and gadgets.
Yeah, her tits look terrible in that dress! She needed a stylist.
I seen it, it premiered in europe several weeks ago, it’s good but I don’t think they picked the right guy to play bond…and also there is not a real love story in it and it’s not much dialogue…and they dropped all the classic lines, but it’s still good

not a gadget one, and I miss those gadgets
anyway, it seems that it ends somewhat…abruptly
as if something was left unsaid
no romance
just a shy sex (?) scene
and still the poor hero is not fully trusted by M
hmm…not a fair movie to the guy
who keeps seeing his credit cards cancelled
as if he were a naughty boy.
But I really enjoyed the car in the beginning of the film
and its chauffeur as well

Was the HUGE OPENING in the title meant to be a pun? You could have fun with that…

It was okay. It referenced the first movie quite a bit, and it dragged a little bit. But when he took off his shirt, I was like, “Hello, Mr. Bond. Damn.” So that part was okay.
Yeah… clearly Daniel Craig is not a boob guy…

I did watch quantum Of Solace last evening but wasn’t as good as the previous ones.The action scenes weren’t up to the mark as well as the villain was not a strong opponent of bond! This goes into one of the bad movies of Bond.

Her dress is so weird, like it’s been made of fabric offcuts because she couldn’t afford the good silk to make a nice full length gown…
it will be easy to make Quantum of Solace spoofs… every where this Bond goes he breaks glass, he can’t get a gallon of milk from the store without it turning into a chase scene, and every time he punches someone in the face, they die
I did watch the movie and I think it wasn’t worth the 7 bucks I paid for it. It wasn’t tragical but definitely not as good as the previous ones. About this picture – both of them don’t look well and they do seem kind of wrinkly.

I personally love it. Craig is a well representation of a “fresh” agent; still reckless, got grudge, making business way too personal, etc- not all that posh yet, but he’s going there. -just like the book.
Quantum of Solace is more human, non-gadget stuff… guns and fists and awesomeness. LOL. Refreshing to see really.

i hate to sound like such a girl but her nail polish is soooo not the right shade or orange for that dress :]
I prefer the old-style bond movies myself.
They look great together. Love her dress and would like to see it a little lower.
