Kill The Lights – Britney Spears

This is supposedly a leak from Britney’s upcoming Circus album titled “Kill the Lights.”

Sure does sound like her.

  • i’m not 100% sure about the voice…but it has the same over-produced sound that Blackout did.

  • I agree with loveitloveit. It is overproduced, but I do think it is Britney. Not exactly a great song too…..

  • I liked it, that was a pretty good song. It’s gotta be her, although – maybe it’s the way the song was electronically, as Ann says, overproduced, but her voice just sounded very, very slightly different, I duuno, maybe higher? Just a subtle, hard-to-describe difference in her voice. But, isn’t this the new thing to do in the music business these days, to leak shit online, as a sort of way to build up hype for a future album release?

    If it isn’t Britney, I wonder who, then, it could be? It’s gotta be her, I mean even the lrical content is like hers, always talking about her life as a pop princess.

  • I vote yes, it has got to be her. The mad beats, bass, intro and, totally over synthesized. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was some crazy sound a like. But since Brits recent activity I am pretty much sure it is her.

    I love it when she repeats “kiiiylll” after every sentence at the end of the chorus!!!!!

    It definitely sounds like her, especially the giggle at the end!!!

  • Why do you hater leave comments! This song is so great that we can’t describe. You haters just say things one said over again, and you get anoying. This doesn’t sound like Blackout at all! Voice is hers. It is like Womanizer voice, and yes this is Brit. Producers done amazing job with songs, and I expect that Britney win many awards for it! Kill the lights, come on you people, this song is one great resamble of life with paps – and didn’t notice it? It says everything, and this IS NOT sh*t! This is amazing track, sure to be hit, 100%. People know to read you haters, so try to act that you are not hater, and maybe people will believe you, but from me, you haters H*CK OFF! And go listen to music you like!

  • Its obviously her, it sounds like her A LOT, its produced by danger.
    The song was reviewed by a U.K mag and are the same lyrics.
    And its more her voice than womanizer is.

    Least its more personal than blackout was.

  • I love Brit with all my heart! She is my idol and without her in my life I don’t know what I would do! She is the beat in my heart that makes me go on each day! She is the blood flowing through my veins! She is the bone marrow in my bones!! I just love her so much and I love her new song! Haters out there get a life!   • Saint Britney has changed my life for the better! From the moment I heard Gimme More, I knew my life would never be the same. Now I live my life according to Saint Britney and pray to her every night. I know she is watching over me and blessing me.   • Although I’m not a huge Britney fan I like this song. Based off of this song I may not buy the album but I would mos def let it play out on the radio in my car or on youtube. It doesn’t sound a lot like her previous work but it’s a good look!

  • this is sooo good i know im a bit late with the comment but i just heard the song lool was trien not to listen to it but OMG HOW GOOD IS THIS SONG? I FUCKING LOVE IT SERIOUSLY… THE KILL THE LIGHTS BIT REMIND ME OF ‘disturbia’ but BETTER! I think its her… i think she brought this out it would be a hit.. i dunno theres somthing weird about this jive has been so strict about the album and keeping it from leaking and now this has leaked hmm… anyways shes a smart person she no’s wat shes doing! il sure buy this if it comes out ***** 5 star love it!

  • real Britney fans know that this is her and her vocals are not over produced they are actually less produced. That is her real voice coming out in this one. The one KILLS!
