In the first week of Evil Beet Gossip’s participation in the DonorsChoose.org Blogger’s Challenge, you guys helped raise nearly $750, and we were able to fund projects that benefited 275 schoolkids in high-poverty areas.
For that: THANK YOU!!!!! Evil Beet Gossip’s readers are already making a tangible difference in the education of these kids!!!
But there are still THREE MORE WEEKS to go!
The economy sucks for everyone right now, I know, but consider finding $5 or $10 to give to one of these projects so that we can raise a generation of leaders who think twice before lending billions of dollars to unqualified borrowers. Imagine if those banks were headed by people who grew up in poor, struggling families and actually wanted to structure lending plans that could help those people rather than profit from them in the short-term and screw them (and everyone else!) over in the long-term.
I’m just saying.
Let’s do what we can to help these kids get the education they deserve.
PLEASE consider making a donation to one of the projects I’ve selected on the Evil Beet Challenge Page.
If you want to donate to a project that’s not listed there, just shoot me an email at evilbeet@gmail.com and I will happily add it.

hey, i’ll start sending money to help school kids in high-poverty areas when they quit dressing up and singing the praises of their new world leader, obama. brainwashing children ain’t too cool. imho.

Get a room you two Conservative supporters.
Isn’t there a cross burning you should be attending?
@ censor – as usual, you make a great point.

who says i’m a conservative supporter? have you not read my many past posts? doesn’t sound like i’m hanging out with evangelicals during my time off, does it? maybe i’m just willing to throw it out there and stir it up a little without lining up like the likes of you seem to do, never willing to waiver no matter what.
i prefer to think i can admonish all races equally. except the chinese. other than checkers and moo goo gai pan chicken, i can’t think of one thing they’ve been good for. they’ve got it coming, in my imho. and i felt that way even before beet was forced to remove my post because of our boards own tokyo rose, tigerlillie.
How did I know that if anyone could come up with a good reason not to support literacy among America’s impoverished youth, it would be my very own readers?
