“Yes, I had my rite of passage. I was 16, and I wasn’t really in control of the situation, if you know what I mean. It was much more about a male fantasy of seeing two women together. But I loved the girl a lot; she was one of my closest friends. I think falling in love is actually more about falling in love with an individual. We’re all potentially bisexual; it all depends on your circle, your upbringing, and all kinds of things. Or maybe I’m just talking about myself. I could’ve easily fallen in love with a woman over a man. My husband Ol’s kind of a man-woman. Look, I once loved Tim Curry, so there you go … I regularly have girl-crushes on mums of other kids. I actually stalked one woman whose kid is one of my daughter’s closest friends. Solange Azagury-Partridge, a fantastic jeweler in London, is one of my girl-crushes right now, and she knows it.”
Thandie Newton talks about her same-sex experiences in The Advocate, following a line of questioning regarding the sexual orientation of Condoleezza Rice, whom she portrays in the upcoming film W.
I 9342387% agree with this.
She expressed my feelings on sexual orientation almost exactly.
Yay Thandie!
GET OUTTA MY HEAD THANDIE! :-X
I maybe wrong here but Condi comes from a family of strong women—and, according to an old issue of glam mag–under “3 Things You Don’t Know About Condi”–Condi sees a football player regularly. Maybe he’s a beard but the source of the tidbits was a woman who wrote an indepth book about Condi Rice.
or her babbling along. But, whatever depens on your upbringing, ya know?
whatever. bi.
I really like men but even I would switch tracks for Thandie.
She is stunning. I really liked her little role in Crash. Powerful little gal.
Good for her and everything, but there are some things that are better left unsaid, or at least published, i.e. the part about stalking the mother of her daughter’s friend. She could have kept that to herself. It’s one thing to be the child of a celebrity, but to be the child of a celebrity blabbermouth who basically tells the world she’d like to have sex with your friend’s mother–yikes. Embarrassment.
I would keep a wide berth of her at the PTA meetings…
Yikes! :O
I agree with cj, that is embarrassing. There is many different ways she could’ve said it without using the word “stalking” especially.
if I were a woman I’d go lez for her too.. thank God I don’t need to
i think i like her a little more now :)
her skin is sooooo amazing!!!
gorgeous now that she’s put on a few pounds.
