Here’s an amusing clip from Good Day LA, where America Ferrera and Blake Lively are on to discuss Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, but the conversation instead goes to Gossip Girl. America is unamused.
Hey, America, at least you still have a hit TV show.
When the first installment of this movie came out, no one had heard of America Ferrera or Blake Lively. Rather, Amber Tamblyn and Alexis Bledel were the young starlets with careers on the rise.
Oh, how the tables have turned.
HAHAHAHA….that was pretty awesome..she has no shame in showing her true feelings about Blake/Gossip Girl. RIGHT ON!!
If only everyone was as unguarded and honest during their interviews.
hahaha So funny! America I love you you are the best!!! :D
Ahahahaha. We were watching this last night (the Soup is the only thing I buy on iTunes). It occurred to me, during that last big facial expression, that she thought the camera was tight on Blake, and not on America at all. Also, I couldn’t stop retching when Blake was like, “the Hamptons, which is a staple of New York socialites,” so good for America.
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! LOVES it!
Oh, how I love you America. This just cracked me up to pieces.
Oh, how I love you, Joel McHale.
God Bless America!
America deserves shows like that.
Classic! WHY do interviewers do that anyway – ask celebrities about everything under the sun (other projects, personal lives, etc) except the actual thing about which they are SUPPOSED to be being interviewed?!? Go America! Classic!
wow, that was hilarious.
America is just jealous! (Though I don’t think the ratings are as good for GG as they are for Ugly Betty, GG is more talked about.)
i feel bad for America.
but that was awesome.
indeed.
Oh that was awesome. I can understand her frustration, and the interviewer is to blame for not sticking to the movie, and Blake, for not atleast saying that she was here to promote her movie.
America held back, she could have went off.
Lol, that last comment about tables turning.. that’s so true!
Although I love all the girls. :)
Hahahahaha, I saw this at like, 3 in the morning today. And I was laughing so hard.
i understand if Blake Lively was the only one geting interviewed but she wasnt its just rude to sit there blabbing on about something about just what you are doing while someone is just stilling there messing with their fingers i would of rolled my eyes myself.she didnt even make the answer short thats the funny part of this.
She wasn’t annoyed at Blake, she was annoyed at the stupidity of the comments about students sleeping with their parents. I think anyone with half a brain would have started rolling their eyes and laughing as well if they were listening to what was actually being said.
I know America Ferrera fans are eating this up, but to anyone else watching this, America is probably coming across as a chubby girl who is mad that the blonder, thinner girl is getting to do all the talking. Also, America apparently did get a chance to talk about Ugly Betty earlier on the show. Maybe she really doesn’t like having to share the spotlight.
This is soooooo unfair to America. Maybe she was just rolling her eyes because it had been 15 minutes since her last sack of Twinkies. What a big hips-ocrit.
I had heard of America from Real Women have curves.
I love GG and Lively (Meester even more!), but I have to agree with Ferrera (And no, I’ve never seen Ugly Betty). They were there promote Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2, not Gossip Girl. I’m kind of disappointed in Blake. It was very unprofessional of her. I don’t think America rolled out of jealousy. It would be really stupid considering she’s an Emmy winner (Even tho GG should totally win an Emmy for best Teen Drama of sumthing like that!). And people STOP disliking someone just because you may think one is “Hotter” than the other. Looks have nothing to do with it. They’re BOTH stunningly BEAUTIFUL!
um anybody who watched the whole thing will see that america took the first 4 qns then blake finally got 1 at the end….so chill
