I haven’t been following this story too closely, but apparently Pam Anderson is living in the Big Brother: Australia house as their celebrity roommate, and the Big Brother house is supported by KFC, which treats chickens badly, and everyone was all like “OMG! How un-PETA of her!” So now she’s all bombarding the KFC offices in Australia to tell them to be nicer to chickens.

Whatever.

I like the nerdy dude with the glasses standing next to her. This guy doesn’t care about chickens at all. He’s just pretending to care about chickens so he can be like “Hey! I’m standing next to Pamela Anderson!” He probably tortures chickens when he’s at home alone. And by “tortures” I mean he dresses them up like Pamela Anderson and then licks them. Pam’s shorts look like enough torture. I feel like I should bombard the Big Brother house with a sign that says “Pamela: Stop Labia Abuse!”

  • dang, Beet, that’s the first thing I thought: “Ouch!” And what’s with the guy with the feathers on his head, is he in a chicken suit? Hopefully those feathers were borrowed from a free range chicken for demonstration purposes only. ;-)

  • Peta is the most corrupt organization I have ever known of. If you want to support animal rights then the ASPCA is the organization to support. At least they aren’t hypocrites who mass murder animals instead of rehabilitating them because they don’t believe they should be domesticated.

  • This is ridiculous. Does PETA even know that Australia KFC is NOTHING like the American or Canadian KFC?

    KFC Australia does NOT treat their chickens badly. They order them from a well known australian chicken supplier that serves homes all around the contry and has a fabulous reputation for the treatment of their chickens.

    The person holding that sign and the whole PETA corporations is retarded.

  • Nadine, I think PETA’s stance is, it doesn’t matter how nice you are to chickens if you ultimately kill them. Just guessing.

  • I think you’ve got it backwards, Beet. No need to dress chickens like Pam; Pam is already dressed in a rather chickenesque manner, no? Fluffy and white on top, skinny and orange in the leg area?

  • I have sharp teeth for a reason, to devour the flesh of chickens! LOL Seriously though, I understand being a vegitarian but KFC’s business is chicken and her protests are totally rediculous because if the company let their chickes graze in a big field of daisies and live a happy life, then killed them, she would not be satisified. I do eat chicken but I do agree that KFC is nasty nasty .

  • I love vegans.
    Their stance not to wear any natural fibers, nor eat anything that even may have come into contact with an animal, thus leaving the animals to die while the manufacturing of their clothing (such as PVC, Pleather, etc.) spews chemicals into the atmosphere, so that the animals can then die a slow and painful death with the rest of us just makes me giggle. Silly, silly people. Not enough protein to the brain, if you ask me.

    Besides — I could have sworn that I heard on the radio that PETA (at least in Canada) had forgiven KFC.

  • Kind of funny because Big Brother is sponsored by.. drumroll please… KFC!!! Yeah, their Diary Room is the KFC Twista Diary Room. Duh!

  • I just get annoyed when the messages can’t stay straight. She’s all up on everyone, acting holier than thou yet she goes and does a reality show in Australia (her career is on fire!!!!) and it’s sponsored by the one thing she has been most vocal about. And she called Jessica Simpson a whore?

    And for the love of God, could she please stop wearing shorts. Christ, she’s so white trash. Especially when her shorts do that crinkling thing where her leg bends. Ugh, so gross.
