New evidence suggests that Nick Hogan/Bollea was going 100 MPH before the crash that critically injured his friend and passenger, John Graziano.
But even worse — Nick had been drinking that day, and the beer was supplied by Hulk!

A clerk, June Hoopingarer, said Hulk Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, bought the beer and was accompanied by his son and several other young men … The report says [Nick] Bollea and his friends spent the day of the accident on a boat with [Hulk] Hogan. [Nick] Bollea’s friends, who are all at least 21 years old, were drinking beer. No one reported seeing Bollea drinking alcohol, although it was found in his system after the crash.
Nick is only 17 years old!
I’m no legal expert, but if he was drinking, and his father bought the beer, could his father be held legally accountable for the consequences of his drinking and driving?

definitely! a friend of mine went to jail for buying alcohol for some underage friends, who got into a car accident later that night and one girl in the car died cause her friend was driving drunk. my friend didnt do much time though, just a lot of community service.
yes.. I actually just went to a training class recently.. whoever gives alcohol to minors CAN be prosecuted in California.. especially when an accident occurs.

that’s not why the hogans are getting divorced. i’ve been close to them for the past 2 yrs and i know from personal experience that the divorce isn’t a sham. it’s the marriage that’s been a sham for at least a year and a half. any love you see between them on that show: well…they’re better actors then you’d think.
even if they split, that doesn’t mean somehow that the amount of money the grazianos would get would drastically decrease as well. they could be awarded all of hulk’s assets or none. whatever linda would get could be taken as well since at the time she was an equal partner in the marriage and the parent of the minor who caused the accident.

i’m not saying this in defense of nick, as he should face full responsibility for his actions, but john is also at fault for being dumb enough to be a 20-something hanging out (and being on the payroll of) a 17 yr old known racer and not wearing his seatbelt. John was a racer too. all the news keep saying “iraq war vet” as if that automatically makes him a noble person. he was a street racer, too. i’d been around him several times while he bragged about the dangerous stunts he pulled on the road putting innocent peoples’ lives in danger. we need to stop pretending there are people who are somehow “only good” or “only bad”. nick, hulk, john and the rest are just like everyone else. they have good qualities and bad qualities. they do smart things and dumb things.

I daresay what Marco meant was that John was not automatically a perfect and infallible person simply for being an Iraq war vet. He did a noble thing to risk his life fighting for other people’s freedom, but that doesn’t mean that he gets a pass on every future stupid thing he does. Being a war vet doesn’t automatically make anyone a good person. It’s a noble deed, but even rotten people occasionally perform noble deeds.
Living near where the incident took place, I have ben hearing about this endlessly since the accident took place. We’ve also lately heard that John Graziano’s own father was amongst the revelers– that’s right, he was there drinking with his son, Nick, and whoever else was there.
Nick deserves to be prosecuted, but John isn’t his victim and is also responsible for his own state.
