Parking was impossible at Arizona State, where I went to college. You had to get to campus like 45 minutes before your classes, because it took that long to find parking and then walk the three miles from where you parked to where your class was. My friend Jenny came from a ridiculously wealthy family, and after class she’d always offer to drive me to my car. Why? Because she parked wherever the hell she wanted to. “I just pay the tickets,” she’d say with a grin. It was wonderful.
Britney Spears is no longer facing hit-and-run charges since she paid off the other car’s driver in the fender-bender, but she still has to deal with one count of driving without a license, a court commissioner ruled Thursday.
Superior Court Commission Susan Speer dismissed the hit-and-run charge after a lawyer for the pop star said his client had paid an undisclosed amount to a woman whose car was hit in a Studio City parking lot.
A charge of driving without a license was not dismissed and a pretrial hearing was scheduled for Nov. 26.
No need to obey the law if you’re willing and able to pay the tickets.

This is a good thing that someone is teaching her how to live, comprehend and obey the laws in a free society. She’s learning the hard way as she goes about in her destructive silly manner., but better late than never.
