According to Us Weekly, after her dismal VMA showing, Britney was “crying badly [backstage]. She’s devastated. She was really nervous and knows she screwed up.”
She also fired her hairdresser right before she went on. Best decision she made all night!!

Please don’t stop there, Brit. Fire your assistants, your stylist, your choreographer and your lapdogs and yes men. Oh yeeah! Fire your drug dealer. Then, call your mother. You should have KEPT her in your life. She’s the only one that told your ass “no”.Then get some sleep. Take care of yourself, and your sons. And THEN plan a comeback.
Just recoup ……….. take some time off to be a mom. Forget about everything other then being a good mom. You’ll get your career back if you just let the bullshit go………. take some time off. You are very very tallented and have a beautiful voice, you have more work to do. Just not now…..

Britney’s burnt out and doesn’t really care anymore. But, like a football player at the end of his career, she’s still going through the motions because showbusiness is the only life she’s ever known. Time for her to retire I think.
Oh that hair! That was the worst do I’ve seen yet! Absolutely that hairdresser should be fired! I think they made her look stupid on purpose. I could have done better!
