I am a white male and have never dated a black woman but that doesn’t mean i can’t see that his girlfriend is beautiful…or any black women for that matter. i notice that when i happen to be w/ a black female friend of mine, the white girls either glare or are in shock. lol….women are so jealous.
‘not glamorous’? she looks quite classy to me.
I think we just expected him to be a bit more shallow because he is beautiful and a lot of good looking men are full of themselves. Plus we seem to identify with the character a person plays because we have no idea what the real person is like. She is pretty, but not overly glamorous, which is a good thing. I think it’s good she goes out in public looking like a normal person and not plastic or airbrushed like a lot of other women of all races do.

The funniest thing about all the dicussion about the difference in ethnicity and the debate about whether she’s suitably attractive for him, is that it’s all taken people’s attention away from the fact the she’s 27 — that’s right, 27! — years younger than him. He recently turned 55 and she’s LITERALLY half his age.
Now, that’s not an issue to me, but it surprises me that it hasn’t even been mentioned here.
To go from Beverly Johnson to her is a change, but as long as he is happy who cares. I am a black woman and it’s the picture, she is prettier in others I have seen. But I didn’t take offense to the comments about her not being the cute, or thought it had anything to do with her race.
