In all honesty, I am surprised the Jim Jeffrey’s show lasted as long as it has. But the joke is on me because of Jim Jeffries is leaving Comedy Central, whereas I would have been sure the network was the one to pull the plug.
“The Jim Jefferies Show will air its final episode on November 19, concluding a brilliant three-year run on Comedy Central,” said a spokesperson for Comedy Central. “We thank Jim and the team for bringing us a unique and international approach to culture and politics. We look forward to developing more projects with Jim in the future.”
So now? Jim Jeffries is heading to NBC! The peacock network has ordered a pilot by Jeffries and writer-producers Suzanne Martin and Sean Hayes.
The untitled sitcom stars Jefferies as a fictionalized version of himself, offering his unique take on modern life and the complexity of relationships. That’s not helping anyone get an idea on the show and there’s no word on when it will come out.
