Arnold Schwarzenegger is reportedly in stable condition after undergoing emergency open heart surgery on Thursday.
According to TMZ, the 70-year-old former California governor developed complications after a catheter valve replacement at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles.
The gossip site also reports that doctors were prepared for the surgery in case the replacement failed. The surgery lasted several hours.
In 1997, the “Terminator” actor had an aortic valve replacement.
A rep for Schwarzenegger did not immediately return a request for comment.
