Alexandra Shipp. The hell is this? It looks like something left over from Cher’s closet in the ’80s.
Ali Fedotowsky. Not digging this at all. It’s like a breastplate with a jumpsuit.
Amber Rose. This reminds me of what Rose McGowan wore many years ago. Didn’t love it then; am not thrilled about it now.
Arden Cho. Love this. It reminds me of a dress Beyoncé wore.
Ariana Grande. This is a bit much, no? It’s a little too Pretty Woman. Before they let her shop.
Beyoncé usually kills it, so what’s going on with this? It’s not bad, but it’s not breathtaking either.
Charli XCX in an outfit that appears to be inspired by Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!
Demi Lovato. I think the dress is fine, though the neckline is a bit odd — it looks like her boobs are trying to escape independently of each other.
Gwen Stefani could have done a little better. She looks fantastic, I’m just not a big fan of this sassy Hilary Clinton-goes-to-the-VMAs pantsuit.
Iggy Azalea. I like the art deco feel of the dress, but again, not blown away.
But here’s someone I AM blown away by — Jennifer Lopez. Goddamn!
Jordin Sparks brings the “meh” in full force.
Here’s Riff Raff and Katy Perry doing the Britney Spears/Justin Timberlake denim look. Katy looks so pretty but as a whole, I think this is diabolical. I’m not into the whole nostalgia factor. I’m just confused.
But I’m into this! Good job, Kesha, you look happy, beautiful, and subdued.
What in the everloving hell happened to Kim Kardashian? It’s like she forgot to do her hair and makeup and only vaguely remembered to wear clothes.
Laverne Cox looks great as always.
Lucy Hale. Not blown away by this. Again, I don’t fully hate it, but there’s nothing here for me to really love.
Miley Cyrus looks pretty good, though I hate this outfit. But at least it’s not a Teddy Bear onesie. Our girl is growing up, you guys.
I think this is the best Nicki Minaj has ever looked. You go, Nicki.
Nina Dobrev. I dig it. It’s like a sleek update of a Grecian gown.
Rita Ora. This is yet another outfit that I don’t hate, yet don’t love. I’m finding a lot of these are just in the middle; anyone else?
Solange. I appreciate the risk she took in wearing this, and it’s not an utter mess, but it’s not super fantastic. I like the look as a whole; it’s reminding me a lot of Tilda Swinton, and I loves me some Tilda.
This is about as daring as we’ve ever seen Taylor Swift. I was not a fan of this. The girl’s got a supermodel body with legs for days, so you’d think a jumpsuit would be the way to go, but she looks like a lost gymnast.
Finally, Victoria Justice. I’m usually not a fan of the mullet skirt, as I call it, but I like this one, and I love the #purse.
