Betty White is a goddamn trouper, isn’t she? She’s got a candid camera type-show called Off Their Rockers (that maybe isn’t doing so well considering it’s moving from NBC to Lifetime next year). She took that title to heart when she rode a wrecking ball just like in Miley’s “Wrecking Ball” video. Ms. White is fully clothed in her video, however.
The video is a promo for her show. In the vid, she explains she was inspired by pop culture events that “really got the kids talking.” She (or a digital version, it’s pretty bad) then bursts through a wall on a wrecking ball. It cuts to her in closeup and she says, “Can someone get me a sledgehammer?” And then at the end, “How ’bout a foam finger?”
I love Ms. White but I am so sick of Miss Cyrus, and I really wish she didn’t do a Miley parody. It’s just too easy and sadly wasn’t very funny. BUT THAT’S JUST MY OPINION. Watch the promo and decide for yourself!
