For a while now, I believe, Snooki has dark brown hair with red streaks. I liked it all right, I guess, though I do like her with a more natural color, and I liked it loads more than I like this blonde nonsense. I don’t like this at all. There’s just something about this hair that screams “trashy” to me. And I don’t think that’s just because it’s Snooki, either.
But the color isn’t all I want to talk about: I also want to talk about the fact that Snooki’s pregnant and dying her hair. See, I’m not a stranger to hair color – last year I dyed mine red a few times, then back to a darker brown because I was getting annoyed with my roots having to be touched up all the time, and this year I dyed my hair pink, then purple for a hot minute, and now it’s red again – and I specifically remember reading on boxes of hair color and hearing in salons that you shouldn’t color your hair while pregnant. I looked it up real quick, and I saw that there hasn’t been much research done on the issue, and if you really want to color your hair while pregnant, you should consult your doctor about it or wait until your second trimester.
Luckily for us, Snooki just did a whole interview about her hair and her choices!
What are you changing about your hair?
“I’ve had my red hair since New Year’s Eve so definitely need to switch it up with some blonde for summer.”Are you going to stop coloring now that you are pregnant?
“I’m very cautious and careful with everything that I do since I’m pregnant and my stylist Bradley Moreland from Gemini 14 Salon used ammonia free lighter and an organic color to make it dark again. All safe products for pregnant women and just to be safe I wore a face mask!”We always see you with different colors, extensions etc, do you do it depending on her mood etc?
“No, I’m just spontaneous and feel like mixing it up with different colors all the time. If it was dependent on my mood it would be bright pink and animal print always.”Does Jionni [Lavalle, Snook’s boyfriend] give input on your hair?
“No, Jionni thinks I’m beautiful no matter what my hair color is. He knows I can rock all colors!”
So do we want to talk about Snooki being a careful pregnant lady, or do we want to talk about how her hair looks?

Dispute the trashy hair, Snickers looks really pretty here.
I don’t read posts about Snooki, so I don’t know what’s up, but she looks way older than a lady in her twenties! She looks like she might be in her forties. That’s a shame.
She should cut her hair shoulder or chin length and keep it dark. She would look amazing!
Despite making her look a lot older than – what, 25 or so? – she looks great here.
i thought women who were prego are not supposed to use dye their hair
oops..in their hair
I agree that if she cut her hair a lot shorter it would do wonders for her!
Total Wynonnaa Judd hair!
Contrary to popular belief, dying your hair while pregnant is completely safe, they have done studies to prove that not enough chemicals can be absorbed through the roots of your hair (ie. scalp), however your hormones could give you undesirable results, ie. blonde could go green, etc. Having said that, it is a good precaution to wear a face mask, because as all of us women (and some men) know, that stuff smells so strong! Nevermind it being chemicals being inhaled, but the smell alone is enough to make any pregnant woman want to hurl!
