Oh, Dina Lohan. She is every bit the mother I’m so thankful I don’t have.
Last night Dina, Lindsay and Ali were doing coke out on the town. They arrived at Hollywood nightclub Villa and were turned away at the door. Why? Because Ali Lohan is fifteen years old, that’s why! The door dude said, “No,” and Dina replied with the so overused and tired inquiry, “Do you know who I am?” Big sister Linds, who should not be pointing out anyone’s mistakes to anyone, chimed in, “You’re making a big mistake! Huge!” Yet still, Access. Denied.
Sad and disturbing-a random bouncer offers more guidance and parental judgment to Ali than her own mother and sister. What does Ali”s future look like if she’s trying to get into nightclubs at fifteen? See? This is how far removed I am from the Hollywood mindset; it’s why I just can’t relate. I heard this tale of denial at the door and all I could think was, “Wait, isn’t this a school night for Ali?” I also thought, “How the hell was Drew Barrymore getting into clubs at eight?”
Anyway, if Ali wants to keep pace towards the goal of rehab by seventeen, handbag designer by nineteen and memoir by twenty, she needs to get started on her meth habit, shoplifting convictions and sex tape, like, now.
It’s surprising that Lindsay turned out as well as she did. Yeah, I said it.
Yeah, but that in itself doesn’t say much.
Their mother is still Dina Lohan and their father is still Michael Lohan.
Yeah, but considering that it’s somewhat amazing that the girls aren’t prostituting themselves in the streets.
Is it too much to expect child protective services to pay attention to this woman? I guess so. If you have money, it talks so loudly that every other voice is drowned out, so then exploiting and/or endangering your kids is no problem. See: Robert Downey jr.’s father, Drew Barrymore’s mother, Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, or, gasp, the oh-so-Christian Jon and Kate Gosselin.
Dina Lohan is a money hugry, fame grabbing, tailcoat riding whore. The whole family is mental.
If a mother did half of the shit that she does over here (New Zealand) Ali would end up in Government care.
wow, you know…. i’m glad this post reminded me of how much i like and admire drew barrymore. i can’t really think of anyone else, at least not from her generation, who’s done what she has. i hope the kids who are just starting down that path will at least keep her in mind once in a while. i’m not one of those people who tries to make everyone into a role model, but there is a lot to admire about drew.
Um I just can’t believe that they tried to card Ali. She looks 40. I am sure I would have accidentally served her at one point…

Good for the bouncer, man! When Lohan busted out the line “do you know who I am” I hope big boy replied, “do you know who the fuck I am? Your biggest nightmare……now get the hell outta my club!”
I’m going to have to agree with my boo Anderson Cooper on this one. This family is a trainwreck!
