Kate Winslet totally stole the show at the LA premiere of Revolutionary Road on Monday. Her body is ridiculously hot these days, and she picked the perfect dress to show it off. Hair and makeup are perfect, too.
Kate is such a talented actress who seems to have worked hard to remain true to herself and not get sucked up into the awful Hollywood scene. It’s nice to see her looking so fabulous.

I liked her because she refused to give in to the Hollywood crap, now she’s just like the rest of them: too thin, too blonde and too much work on her face.

She looks a little thinner than she did for Titanic; that’s all. looking hot and not 10 to 15 on the other side is a good thing… she went blonde, so that’s bad? and makeup for the premiere? it’s her job to look good at these things…don’t get how you can lose respect for that… look at Kristen Stewart, let her be your ‘artiste’.
I liked her because she looked real. The full on blonde, the too thin look and the face all make her look fake IMO. I liked that she wasn’t perfect, it made her perfect! Kristen Stewart, the only reason I even know who she is is because I saw Panic Room. She’s a child, Kate is a woman and was once proud to be imperfect. Oh well, I guess my opinion is in the minority.
I concur. She looks good, but very generic- kind of like sheryl crow or debbie matanopol…??? or name a dozen other hollywood types. I liked her better when she looked a little lusher. She wore weight well.

maybe its for a role. she has always been pretty vocal about choosing to be herself and not conform to hollywood stereotypes.
i think its sad that people comment that she looks better than she has ever looked (although its a well-intended compliment im sure). i think she looks incredible as herself. even when i saw “heavenly creatures” i thought she was amazingly beautiful.
I’d definitely agree with the Heavenly Creatures remark. She was so beautiful and wonderful at acting in that film. As she is in all of her films that I have seen, but that’s one of my favourites.

She does look dang good, no doubt. Much better than “Revolutionary Road” does. I watched the trailer for this the other night. Sorry, but I don’t think this movie’s going to do well. It looks like it’s a quite dower picture about a couple of miserable, whiney yuppies who live in this beautiful dream house out in the ‘burbs, have a good income, and seem to have it all, but somehow are still just soooo dissatisfied with life. Yeah, in this economy, where people are losing their jobs and houses every day, this movie should be big hit.

Yeah, I say she was beautiful from the beginning of her career, and she’s beautiful now. No one stays looking the exact same way their whole entire life. And one look (her Titanic/Heavenly Creatures days) is neither “better” nor “worse than another look (right now, in these new red carpet photos.) Why does there have to be a comparison of now versus then?
I’ve always adored & respected this gorgeous, talented, down-to-earth, warm-hearted woman.
