It’s Going to Be a Really Slow News Day

David Beckham got a minor traffic ticket in Hollywood on Tuesday.
And it’s on the AP wire today.
“There was a traffic incident that took place,” said a rep for the police department. “It was a minor offense and David complied with the officer.”
Yeah. Today is going to be boring.

Some poor reporter had to “investigate” on this…
as a journalism student, I cant help but roll my eyes at the priorities of some news media outlets.
A gossip site had pictures of the traffic stop and Becks was driving a totally tricked-out ghetto cruiser with flashy wheels and a “23″ on the grille. Gee, wonder how the paparazzi ever found him?

i note with mystified fascination when watching E! that on the intellectual deep show “battle of the hollywood hotties” or “sexiest hollywood hottie” [they all seem the same] posh spice makes the list - or the opening shots in the advertisment for it anyway - hil-frick-larious!!! She would never ever ever be nominated for such a thing in GB or Ireland, she is regarded with a mixture of horror and fascination with her fake breasts [which she always denied till they went to court and then she had to admit to having them enhanced] weirdly crazy thin body and over the top clothes that are highly impractical for everyday living! She even makes the 100 ugliest lists sometimes, which is harsh no one is truly ugly - and back in the day she looked like a nice girl next door - but still i must conclude that to the majority of Americans beauty is measured in units of fame, crazily thin bodies and silicone….
Becks on the other hand is thought very highly of in general - before he sold out to advertising - his public affair with rebecca loos didn’t help the marriage either - opsyyyy could rebecca loos be any more different to VB? Go-ogle her!
